Sculptures

There are a total of eight sculptures distributed around Cadaqués. All of them are a tribute to the most remarkable artists and intellectuals who have lived or stayed in the town.

This enables visitors to get to know every inch of the town.

They are all worth visiting for both their beauty and originality:

  1. Salvador Dalí, bronze. By Ros Sabaté year 1972. Sculpture donated by captain John Peter Moore, the old secretary of Dalí. Location: Promenade maritime, Cadaqués.
  2. The four sea winds by François Sthaly located at Ses Oliveres beach.
  3. The boat and the cypress by Salvador Dalí, located at Portlligat beach.
  4. Freedom, bronze. Sculpture inspirated by Dalí and maked by Bartholdi in 1994. Present of captain Moore to Cadaqués. Located at the entrance of the town.
  5. To Rosa Leveroni, by Emilia Xargay and located at Portlligat bay.
  6. To Federico Garcia Lorca by J. Subirachs, located at Llané beach.
  7. Girl, marble. By the modernist artist Josep LLimona, located at the municipal cemetery of Cadaqués.
  8. Lidia from Cadaqués, bronze. By Ramón Moscardó located at Riba Pitxot and Victor Rahola Avenue.
