Beaches and coves

Along the bay of Cadaqués and the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, there are  some  beaches and coves. Most of them are still genuine and wild with pure transparent waters.

In the Integral Natural Reserve, access on foot to the coves that do not have marked itineraries by the Park is not allowed.

Being part of a protected natural environment must comply with a series of rules:

- You can't light a fire.

- Avoid making unnecessary noises that disturb wildlife.

- Take the waste you generate and deposit it in the corresponding containers.

- Camping is not allowed.

- Plants cannot be collected, some are protected.

- You can not bother or capture any animal.

- You cannot pick up rocks or any type of mineral.

Some rules to bear in mind:

Although nudist beaches are unofficial, people practise nudism in the beaches and coves which are away from the bay, especially in Cap de Creus.

Adapted beaches for physically disabled and wheelchair bound

Portdoguer beach is the only totally adapted beach for physically disabled and wheelchair bound as it has a wooden gangway and an amphibian wheelchair, which enables access to the sea from the promenade.
