- ESPAI CAP DE CREUS

Finally we suggest visiting Espai Cap de Creus located inside the Cap de Creus lighthouse which is also worth visiting. It dates to 1853 and it is considered the second oldest lighthouse in Catalonia.

Espai Cap de Creus is a scientific spreading centre that explains the geological, vegetal and animal evolution of the surrounding area.

The geological beauty of Cap de Creus fascinates for the wild shapes that can be observed both in rocks and plants. Tramontana, a strong northern wind, and the sea are the main agents that have modelled this area, including trees, which are bent southwards by the force of the wind.

Walking through the nature reserve of Cap de Creus enables us to witness thousands of years of evolution turning it into a unique experience.
